National Animal Welfare Organizations

Other groups concerned about animals range from non-for-profits to food pantries to church organizations. Many of these groups raise money and awareness to help animals at risk. As with national animal welfare groups that we partner with, these groups also promote spay-neuter programs to pet owners in need.

The following list of national animal welfare organizations reinforce the values of SNSI.

ASPCA

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

The ASPCA provides effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States. The ASPCA works nationally to rescue animals from abuse, pass humane laws and share resources with many shelters across the country.

Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends helped pioneer the no-kill movement. By implementing targeted spay/neuter and TNR programs to reduce the number of animals who enter shelters, and by increasing the number of people who adopt pets, we know we can end the killing. We know we can Save Them All.

The Humane Society

The Humane Society of the United States

The Humane Society of the United States is the nation’s largest and most effective animal protection organization. We help animals by advocating for better laws to protect animals; conducting campaigns to reform industries; providing animal rescue and emergency response; investigating cases of animal cruelty; and caring for animals through our sanctuaries and wildlife rehabilitation centers, emergency shelters and clinics.
