Spay or Neuter your pet!

With the help of our programs, over 30,000 surgeries have been performed since 1977. Become a member today or volunteer and help us continue to save lives.

SNSI is always looking for volunteers to help us with our mission of ridding the streets and shelters of homeless pets. Many of the SNSI volunteers hold down full-time jobs while they work tirelessly towards this goal. We know that your time is valuable, so we have listed many ways in which you can help.

If you would like to become involved with our organization, we would love to hear from you. Please fill out this form and our Volunteer Coordinator will get back to you right away.

Volunteer Opportunities

    • Adopt-a-Thon festivals. SNSI should have a presence passing out information.

Specific Jobs

  • Working with the Education Coordinator, you could design posters, brochures, or flyers about various Humane Education topics to be used in school and community presentations. This project can be as large or small as you want to make it.

  • Working with the Education Director and a local grocery or shopping center, set up a booth with information on various animal topics, such as: responsible pet ownership, spay/neuter, selecting an appropriate pet, and shelter information. You would only need to request the grocery store space/permission and design an eye-catching sign to draw people to your table.

  • Working with local businesses, set up change donation canisters. You could also place canisters at the cash register in your school lunch line. Hold the drive for anywhere from a week to a month, returning periodically to empty the canisters. When you are done, count the change and have a bank turn it into a cashier's check or money order. This project requires very little time.
